St. Camillus Health Center’s Fund Raising Committee is hard at work planning the 12th Annual Wine Tasting Event, titled “An Evening At The Mansion.” This event has grown into one of the most popular events of the area’s social calendar, and always draws a large crowd of people from all over the Valley.
It amazes all of us at St. Camillus that eleven years have come and gone since our first Wine Tasting Event back in 2006. Many positive things have came to fruition over that time–due in large part to the success of this event. St. Camillus has a small fleet of vans used for resident transportation, that stems directly from the wine tasting events. We have developed two new successful programs–our Adult Day Health Center, and our Memory Care Neighborhood. Both of these enable us to serve populations that we could not serve previously. As I’m sure you are aware, successful programs like these don’t come without a cost. It is also well known that when our organization takes on a new project like these two, we do so with the intent to provide the absolute BEST experience for our clients and their families.
In order to be able to continue to operate with those high standards in mind, community support for our work is imperative. As always, any and all money raised through our fund raising efforts stays here at St. Camillus. Past donations have helped make St. Camillus a national leader in a movement called “Culture Change,” designed to improve the quality of life for residents of nursing homes.
This year’s event will be no different–funds raised from “The Evening at the Mansion” will again be utilized to continue to improve the quality of life for the members of our community that come to live at St. Camillus. We are offering sponsorships on four levels this year, all of which are described below. Please consider helping this local non-profit nursing home continue on its quest to make every resident’s life one worth living.
We would like you to consider helping in any way you can. Please consider attending this event for an elegant evening of fine cuisine and drink, as well as an opportunity to purchase auction items or win great prizes.
